The Blackwood pack was filled with people running around taking care of the Wedding Arrangements. Their Alpha and Beta had warned everyone that the preparations should go smoothly, and their Luna couldn't be disappointed at any cost.
After the witch's death, Adele and her kids returned to the Blackwood Pack. Chris and Liam had been wanting to propose to Adele ever since.
After six months, during one of their dates at the beachside, Chris and Liam bent on their knees and proposed for marriage.
" Took you long enough," Adele signed." I was starting to think you two wanted to marry each other, leaving me at the side."
" Of course not!!" Chris said.
" Don't you trust us?" Liam asked.
" I do. I know you two love me a lot."
"Then why would you think we would not want to marry you?"
"Because when I came to Blackwood pack, there were rumors that you two would marry each other."
" That was before," Liam agreed. " But now we know that you are the connecting link. If we marry you, our relationship is complete."
" How do I handle two husbands?" Adele mumbled.
" You can handle anything and anyone," Chris stated proudly.
So, the date was decided and the wedding day finally arrived. The wedding was being held at the Blackwood pack, and Adele was staying at the Silverlake pack for the past week with the kids.
Chris and Liam were dressed in similar black tuxedos with a black tie.
" You look hot," Liam said, staring at Chris, who was looking at himself in the mirror.
Chris suddenly pulled Liam towards him and bit him on his ear. " And you look sexy as hell."
" Sexy my a*s," Liam grunted. " I am not Adele." He then briefly kissed Chris on his lips and said, " Now I want to see Adele in her wedding gown."
" She will be here soon," Chris said. His phone started ringing, and he saw it was Axel.
" Have you guys left?" Chris asked eagerly.
" Are the kids at the Blackwood pack?" Axel asked in a panic.
" Are they already here? Who did they come with?"
" No one. We didn't leave yet."
" What are you trying to say?" Chris asked, confused.
" We are looking for the kids, but they are nowhere to be seen, both Ian and Iris."
" What do you mean nowhere to be seen?" Chris sneered.
" They were missing their Dad's and insisted on leaving soon. I think they left on their own," Axel said in a concerned voice.
'These kids would not allow me to attend myown wedding peacefully.' Chris could hearAdele's panic-stricken voice over the phone.
" Ade!!! You wait here. I will go look for them."Axel called out to Adele, but she was already running towards the woods. " She's gone," he signed.
" Which way did she go?" Chris asked.
" Through the forest.I think she caught their scent," Axel said.
" We should go too," Liamsaid to Chris.
" I will call you if Ifind them," Chris said to Axel and hung up.
Both Chris and Liam rushedout of the room, yelling for Trevor and Dalton.
" Yes, Alpha." They were in front ofthem in an instant.
" Look around the pack for Ianand Iris," Chris instructed. " Let me know if you find them."
Trevor and Dalton looked surprised at the news but got to work without questioning further. Chris and Liam turned around and raced towards the forests that led to the Silverlake pack.
Meanwhile, Adele was running through the forest in her wedding gown, calling for Ian and Iris. She followed their scent, and it led towards the Blackwood pack.
" How could four-year-olds know the way home?" Adele asked Alexa.
" They are my pups; what do you expect?" Alexa smirked.
" It's so difficult to run around in this gown."
" You should haveshifted."
" And ruin my wedding dress?"
" Is it more important than the kids?" Alexa groaned.
Precisely at that moment, they heard Ian's voice. " Iris..."
Adele turned around and heaved a sigh of relief. Ian was standing a few meters away from her while Iris was further away. " What are you guys doing here?"
Ian and Iris looked at each other and then at their Mom. Finally, Iris spoke up. " Going home."
" Why did you leave all by yourself?You know it's not safe," Adele saidin a soft voice approaching her kids.
" I want tosee dad,"Iris pouted.
" I am here, Princess," Chris yelled from a distance.
" Dad." Iris jumped in excitement and rushed towards Chris and Liam. Though Chris was a fierce Alpha, he was a doting father who greatly pampered his kids. Adele and Liam opposed this as they thought the kids would be spoiled, but Chris, who hisfather had tortured as a child, could not imagine seeing his children hurt and wanted to give them whatever they asked for.
Chris picked Iris up and asked, " Why did you leave, Princess? Didn't I tell you never to wander alone?"
" I followed toprotect her," Ian said proudly.
" That's myboy," Liampraised him.
" I am the big sister. I will protect you," Iris argued.
" I am theAlpha," Ian retorted.
" Both of you should protect each other," Adele interrupted. " But now you are too small to leave alone. Promise me both of you that you would never do that again."
" Promise Mamma," Ian said and hugged his Mom.
"Iris...?" Adele asked, looking at her.
" I promise," Iriswhispered.
" So, let's leave now. It's already late," Liam said." By the way, you look breathtaking," he added, staring at Adele.
Adele blushed at thecompliment.
" Now, you look even more desirable," Chrissaid in a husky voice.
" What is desi...able," Iris asked Chris, and Adele's face was red as a tomato.
" I will tell you later, Princess, but now we are getting late for the wedding," Chris replied. " Whydon't you come with us?" he asked, looking at Adele.
" My wedding gown will be ruined, and I can't walk properly in this," Adelesaid. " Come on, Ian, Iris, let's go."
" I will gowith Dad," Iris said.
" I willcome,"Ian said.
Adele held Ian's hand, blew a kiss at Chris and Liam, and said, " See you soon." She then turned around and walked towards the Packhouse.
It was one of the best weddings in werewolf history. After the witch's death, the news spread like wildfire among the werewolves and even the other supernaturals. Many people came to the Blackwood pack with gifts to congratulate and appreciate Chris, Liam, and Adele on getting rid of the witch who was a major threat to the people. So as a result, the number of people who attended the wedding was overwhelming. Nobody wanted to miss the big day of the people they considered heroes.
Adele's Dad, Aaron, walked her down the aisle, and the priest started with the rituals. There was a huge round of applause among the crowd, especially the Blackwood pack members, as Adele had to share a kiss with not one but two grooms. The people found it strange as well as exciting.
" Finally," Adele signed. " NowI am officially yours," she said, looking from Chris to Liam.
" You were ours the moment we saw you," Chris countered.
Adele snorted." It didn't look like that."
" I was a fool back then,"Chris replied.
" True," Liam added. " But now nothingcan break us apart."
" Together forever," Adele said, holding each of their hands and thanking the Moon Goddess. Though she and Alexa faced many challenges in their journeyof love, they had ultimately found their happy place with their mates.
